Was there for the triathlon. Great race and great place to play afterwards. The Beach area was a lot of fun.
Overall I really enjoyed my time and would definitely come again.
What I liked: The lake is very large and I really enjoyed the big camping spots and convenient fire pits, they have actual flushing toilets as well as functional showers, paddle boards and kayak rentals were more affordable here than many other places I've been to, and the views were pretty.
Beautiful place, great fun for families. While you are there travel east to Cleveland and visit the KFJ C Store for ice cream and supplies too!
What I didn't like: the banks were muddy, I didn't see any sea life (at Palisades you can see frogs and lots of fish), they have a very limited number of kayaks (I believe they only had 2) and paddle boards were the only other water sport rental option.
